Mike Nelson riffs "Star Wars: Episode I"

Once they riffed Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, it was bound to happen. In fact, it was predicted here on this very site only two weeks ago--proving once again that we rule at no-brainer predictions.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 alumni Mike Nelson and Kevin Murphy have now riffed Star Wars: Episode I--The Phantom Menace.

The Episode I rifftrax is available now at Mike Nelson's RiffTrax. The Matrix also joins the growing list of available titles.

Each movie-length rifftrax commentary, in the style of MST3k, can be downloaded for a reasonable fee. The rifftrax are meant to be played at the same time as a DVD that the downloader already owns or rents.

As for Episode I, the site promises, "Finally, Jar Jar gets what he deserves!"
