A quick news roundup for you this morning.
Official site reveals first glimpses of Superman: Doomsday movie
DC Universe has opened their official Superman: Doomsday site, which basically consists of a short featurette including storyboard imagery for the September direct-to-DVD movie release. Looks to be an exciting movie, even if does seem to have a pointy-jawed Superman. Though voiced by James Marsters, the animated Lex Luthor sounds a lot like Kevin Spacey. (The Film Frontier's related articles)
TrekWeb looks at The Wrath of Khan's "lost" footage
Gustavo Leao over at TrekWeb put together a nice article about deleted scenes from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan that have not yet turned up on DVD. His article includes a YouTube link where you can see some of the footage in a raw form, including mention of Saavik as half-Romulan.
Spider-Man 3 tanks at the box office
Spider-Man 3 managed to pull in only $79 million on its first day of release, with a paltry $151 million for opening weekend overall. Find out more about the Spider-Man flop. Better luck next time, Spidey.
